Imran Sharif

Imran is a specialist periodontist at Dental Excellence Harewood. Imran’s professional exposure to a number of different areas within dentistry has provided him the necessary skills in the following areas: periodontal (gum disease) treatment, dental implants, oral surgery and conscious sedation.

Imran graduated from Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2003. Over a three year period he undertook Senior House Officer positions in Restorative dentistry, Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial surgery. This period of training culminated in gaining the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In 2008 he embarked on a four year specialist training programme, Masters in Clinical Dentistry Periodontology. This included extensive training and experience within the field of dental implantology. As part of his specialist training, he also completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontics at Kings College, London whilst also attaining the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
