Yes. retention.sil is fully compatible with bredent’s SKY® and copaSKY® implant systems, providing secure retention for implant-supported restorations during processing or in long-term temporaries.
What is the Application Process for retention.sil?
For chairside application, after locating and grinding the restoration at the abutment position, apply a thin layer of Multisil Primer to PMMA resin, then allow to flash off for three minutes. Then, fill the cavity two-thirds full with retention.sil using the dispenser. Apply the restoration and have the patient bite gently – it’s not necessary to block out undercuts. After 5 minutes, remove the restoration and any excess. Make sure to read our guidance for the full instructions.
How Durable is retention.sil in Clinical Use?
A scientific study has shown that retention.sil had a stable pull-off force over the entire examination period, which corresponds to a wearing time of about 5 years. The locator array used in comparison has lost over 60% of its pull-off force.
