Lecture Title: Shade Selection, pre-sinter shaping, staining and glazing

Speaker: Deniz Osmanov

Aim: A practical session exploring how shade selection, zirconia shaping, staining and glazing can be used to create more natural, predictable aesthetic outcomes.

Objectives:

By the end of this hands-on session, you will:

• Assess value, hue and chroma when selecting shades.
• Understand how blank selection, nesting position and material thickness influence aesthetics.
• Shape zirconia pre-sintering to improve anatomy, light reflection and incisal effects.
• Use staining, glazing and polishing techniques to create depth, vitality and natural-looking results.
