Business Update 1st July 2020

“I am pleased to say that the bredent UK office is re-opening today, 1st July,  from 11am. It has been a tough three months for all concerned but as our customers and the dental industry as a whole  slowly emerge from lockdown restrictions we will be here to offer suppourt and supply you with the product you require in order to move forward and treat your patients.

Initially our ordering phone line will be open from 11am each morning and we are pleased to say that we are able to once again offer next day delivery where product is in our UK stock. Our UK team are being brought back incrementally and of course as business dictates. You can also place orders 24/7 via the website here.

We at bredent UK Ltd wish all our customers, business partners and their families good luck in this period of societal readjustment and of course the best of health through the upcoming weeks.

General business update – 18th March 2020

Managing Director of bredent UK Ltd, Stephen Denman said

“We would like to update you on the strategy we have implmented in our Head Office in Senden, Germany and at our bredent UK Ltd office in Chesterfield. These changes in daily practice are for a number of reasons including how we can safely continue to service and support your business, be it clinic or laboratory, during this unprecedented period. Rest assured we are closely following guidance and advice from the UK Government.

Our customers, your patients and our team members safety is paramount.

In the first instance we have asked our field teams not to “cold call” but to only follow up on scheduled appointments having first checked that they are welcome to do so. Your current regional Business Development Managers and Technical Specialists are set up for remote working and are available to give support, technical advice or take orders via phone, email or Skype.

We are fortunate to have our UK Medical and Technical stock within the Chesterfield office and ready for despatch when required. Our departmental colleagues in Senden, Germany have been split into teams, working in separate offices to each other and are working split shifts in order to mitigate any chance of a whole department going down due to COVID-19. This along with the precautions of home working for non-essential staff has been implemented in Germany in order to support, maintain services and production for the German market and ALL international subsidiaries including the UK.

Please note that our courier has now reduced their services due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and UK Government advice, therefore we can no longer offer pre 9am and 10am deliveries until the forseeable future. We still remain to offer our standard delivery, next day by 12pm.

Additionally, we now offer an extended returns policy, up to 90 days, for orders placed from 17th March until 30th June.

bredent group days Lisbon 2020 – 17th March 2020

Managing Director of bredent UK Ltd, Stephen Denman said

“I am sure that it comes as no surprise that we have taken the decision to cancel bredent Group Days Lisbon 2020 with immediate effect due to COVID-19. Only 10 days ago we were hopeful to be able to continue the tradition of high-level dental training for implantologists and dental technicians however the crisis has grown exponentially.

Public life is becoming increasingly restricted in all European countries and Portugal has now also closed the borders and placed restrictions on events with over 100 participants until further notice. Internally we will discuss in the coming weeks whether and at what point it might make sense to reschedule the event.

Payments made for congress fees, workshops, table clinics and the gala evening will be 100% reimbursed to registered participants, as will payments for hotel rooms in the Epic Sana Hotel Lisboa.

As air tickets are not reimbursable by the bredent group – we ask all guests to contact their airline or travel agency directly.”
